We were delighted to be invited to be involved in an intergenerational tree planting project as part of the Queens Green Canopy Initiative organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Council.
Hutchinson Care Home, Ballyclare, applied for trees for their grounds and asked us if we would like to partner up with them to plant the trees.
A small group of children attended with their parents and carers. They met residents of the home and also the Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey. The children were then very pleased to receive goody bags from the staff of the care home to thank them for their efforts!
